HOPE
The Teddys had arrived in Marshall North Carolina. Ten boxes of Teddys ready to be distributed to the families who had the greatest needs. And some just to families who wanted their children to have joy this Christmas Day. We are still awaiting more pictures/videos of this moment , but for this baby and their mom, it’s a happy, happy day. For those of you who have been following this journey, it began with God telling a semi-retired woman from Sun City Az to begin “ Operation Teddy Bear”. Many of you were involved, weather in your donations or in the process of getting the bears, their T-shirts, their transportation…all with one goal in mind “ the 200 children in Marshall, North Carolina” who lost so much. This Christmas would not have been possible without your help. They needed HOPE, a hope for the future, to believe that God had not left them…alone….that Jesus loved them. The smile on this baby lets you know that, for all that you did to help, it made a difference. HOPE. There is another story about a baby. Only He was the one who would BE our HOPE. His name is Jesus. When the Shepards saw him they had HOPE. When the kings came they knew their long journey had been worth while because the King of Kings had finally arrived…the Savior. This Christmas some of you are struggling with the loss of someone you love or possibly lose, some have lost their homes, businesses, community as those in Marshall North Carolina did. 2025 may seem daunting, futile, fearful and maybe even sorrowful. The story of the impossible of these teddy bears shows that God has NOT forgotten you. As He reached out to these children from AZ to North Carolina, He will be there for YOU too. As the angels proclaimed to the Shepards “ Fear not; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great JOY, which shall be to all men; for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord”. May the HOPE of Jesus bring you comfort this Christmas season and a reminder that, with God, all things are possible.
