To Be Brave: Step 2
The first step I had to do to be brave was change my environment that was causing my sense of helplessness. With the one phone call that changed it I met with my cardiologist. After meeting with my cardiologist I did my cardio work up and am now waiting for the results. Step 2: I went to get something at of the freezer for dinner and, well, it appeared there was nothing I could eat! The picture says it all. I love meat..Now, even on WW all this is ok. But, now I am on a different diet, a heart healthy diet. I was soooo sad. I have vowed that this summer would be my time to get my life back in balance. Has anyone else looked at what might need to change to bring your life back in balance? Your fridge, a bad habit, a toxic relationship, God? Because I couldn’t see or feel the plaque that was building up I didn’t know I was in trouble. Plaque can’t be reversed, only slowed down. Scary thought huh? So, I made the change..my freezer looks different, and slowly I’m making the other changes. I’m still waiting for the final results but I know these changes are necessary NOW. One thing is for sure; God is in control. God loves me and has a future for me. Unlike plaque, you still have time to accept Jesus and HE will bring your life into balance.
